Parks & Trails
Nearby Townsend Park contains over 80 acres of a hilly mix of mature pine stands with some wetlands, natural woods, and open ground. Bear Creek runs through or along the border of Townsend Park for more than a mile and is designated Type 1 trout stream.

Cannonsburg Ski
Offers outdoor activities and events all year round. During the winter season, Cannonsburg offers skiing, snowboarding, multiple terrain parks, fat biking, and the largest tubing facility in the state. Cannonsburg's zip line adventure tours run from summer until the end of fall, with other summer activities including outdoor concerts and deck parties.

Mountain Biking
There are 11 miles of trails at Cannonsburg Ski area for hiking, biking, and trail running. The trails offer a variety of terrain with tight, twisty single track, double track, climbs, and downhills. It's the perfect way to exercise outside and enjoy the beauty of nature. During the summer, the trails are available for use at no cost!
State Game Area
Small game, wild turkey, and white-tailed deer hunting opportunities.
